Donker Farm

Donker Farm is a 24-acre working farm in the city of Worcester, Massachusetts. It’s sheep, chicken, geese, and bees are tended to by a group of local volunteers and the community enjoys the eggs and honey from the farm as well as the clothing and hats made from the sheep’s wool. Donker Farm is located in a neighborhood in the city and is a model for urban land preservation and sustainability. Beyond the practical aspect of providing food, the farm is beneficial to individuals and families as they come together with a shared sense of purpose and accomplishment. Donker Farm is a great example of what OEED is all about.
